Weekend in LA

Friday, June 2nd, 2006

So last week was a three day weekend, I took a break from posting.

I guess I didn’t really come back from the break, since I completely failed to notice getting quoted in a local paper, then even better, when I read the article, I didn’t realize it was my quote, until I wondered enough about *whose* quote it was, to do the search on Google.

Oh.

lornamatic.com. Right.

Anyway.

On to the things to do this weekend:

Friday night at NHM: Los Angeles Leiden: Nature and the City

Joe Blaustein’s Juxtapose… you smile and call me “honey” is now open at First Independent Gallery, Bergamot Station G6. The reception is Saturday from 5-7PM.

Also on Saturday from 5 - 7PM, ARTpage zine launch party & opening

Go out to the desert, protest the war, get photographed: knowwar.com.

Hey, Culver City has an artwalk too!

show&tell: the art of time, for one more week at the Zimmer Children’s Museum - works on display are for sale, and will benefit the museum’s programs.

Finally, Robert Rauschenberg: Combines - for the last three people in LA who haven’t heard about this one, yet.
